Book Review Friday- Sacred Marriage
This weeks book review is “Sacred Marriage” by Gary Thomas. I cannot say enough good things about this book. It should be required reading for anyone getting married or already married. I’ve been married for 7 1/2 years and there were things that I’ve never thought about as it relates to marriage. I’m actually reading this book with a good friend of mine who’s been married for 25 years so that I can get her perspective too- and she loves the book as much as I do. I like the fact that it’s not “10 things to make your husband happy” or things like that which tend to be very surface. This book is about how God designed marriage to make us holy rather than happy (as he says in his sub-title). It’s all about using your marriage to grow closer to God in through that process becoming a better husband or wife. I’ve read many good books on how to have a strong marriage and this one outshines them all.

I have read this book too and it is excellent. But you should clarify. The book you are talking about is Sacred Marriage. Sacred Romance is another book and it is also excellent. I would recommend both.
