8 Things Meme

   My friend Kelly over at From God in the Shower  tagged me for the 8 things meme.  Nothing like a good meme to get me through another snow day!!!

8 TV Shows I Watch:

1.) Lost- if I only had one show I could watch this would be it.  I love this show
2.) Heroes
3.) Chuck
4.) 30 Rock
5.) CSI Las Vegas
6.) Scrubs (we just discovered this- how did I know know about this show?  It’s HILARIOUS!)
7.) Survivor- I’m a little hit and miss with this.  It’s hard to watch anything that comes on at 7pm.
8.) Masterpiece Theater – okay maybe not.  Just wanted to sound smart.

8 Favorite Restaurants

1.) Buca di Beppo
2.) Macaroni Grill
3.) Red Lobster

7.) McDonalds – sad, but true- I have very refined taste

8 Things That Happened to Me Today:

1.) Woke up early- thank you Baby #3
2.) Went to Target
3.) Talked to my sister- which makes it no different from every other day of the week.
4.) Finally got caught up on Google Reader from my 3 week hiatus.  I did have to do quite a bit- “mark as read.”  I had over 650 posts to read!
5.) Explained to Baby #1 that although he thinks that it’s funny to yell “You’re not my mom” at the grocery store it’s not a good idea because someone might believe him.
6.) Spent way too much time on the computer.
7.) It’s a day of the week that ends in “y” so I did laundry.
8.) I will be taking a bath tonight.  I’m freezing!

8 Things I Look Forward To:

1.) My kid’s developing a personal relationship with Christ.
2.) “Me” time.
3.) Getting to hang out with my Bible study girls on Friday night.
4.) Valentines night with Hubs.
5.) Seeing my dad again.
6.) Watching my kids grow up.
7.) Growing old with Hubs.
8.) A Whataburger mystery shop next week.

8 Things I Wish For:

1.) Continued good health.
2.) That my children would come to know Jesus in a real & life altering way (totally copied this from Kelly, but I couldn’t have said it better myself).
3.) To be a better wife.
4.) To be the mom God designed me to be.
5.) A consistent date night with Hubs.
6.) A weekend away from kids with Hubs.
7.) A real vacation- not visiting relatives.
8.) To be totally out of debt.
